Explore how deck shapes, supports and gap length affect bridge bending and stability in model tests.

How to play

Choose a deck shape, set the load blocks and test your bridge. Watch the deck bend and the stands move in the side push. Keep a test, change one feature and test the same blocks again.

Compare a flat and a folded deck with the same load. Add a middle support, or widen the stands. A deck can bend less while its stands still wobble. These are simplified model observations; materials and joints also matter in real bridges. A grown-up can read and explore with early learners.
