Explore flat 2D shapes and 3D solids: turn models, find properties and compare shapes, then practise with pictures.

How to play

Explore the models before practice. Drag sideways or use Turn and Tip. Show corners, sides or flat faces, and look at properties whenever you like. A flat screen picture represents each solid; some parts are hidden. Choose a picture answer, use a hint and move on when ready. Your profile level chooses the lessons. No timer or penalties.

A square is flat. A cube has depth and six square flat faces. Turning either changes the view, not its properties.
